We formulate to the European Union cosmetic standard, which prohibits more than 1,700 substances. From that benchmark, SeneGence maintains a company-defined NO List and updates it with global research and regulatory developments. If an ingredient’s safety data is incomplete, disputed or heading toward restriction, SeneGence leaves it out even when it is still legal. The company standard guides formulation.
