SeneGence Complexion Layering Order: Skincare, Primer, Foundation

Layer Climate Control gel essence and a selected serum first, then build the Mechanical Shield with the matching DayTime Moisturizer, MakeSense Silk Primer & Pore Minimizer, and MakeSense Foundation. The Mechanical Shield is complexion layering, and a labeled sunscreen stays its own directed step.

Layer Climate Control, Serum, Moisturizer, Primer, and Foundation in This Order

Order is one controllable part of a complexion that separates, rolls, or pills.

Use the named sequence: Climate Control, a chosen serum, the matching DayTime Moisturizer, labeled sun protection as directed, MakeSense Silk Primer & Pore Minimizer, then MakeSense Foundation. Hydrate, treat, moisturize, protect, smooth, perfect. Use each product's directed amount and let the application settle before the next.

If the base still rolls, correct only accidental over-dispensing back to the label, then compare settling time, rubbing, skin condition, and formula compatibility. The last three SeneGence layers are the Mechanical Shield; the earlier skincare prepares the surface for them.

how to use it

Work in front of the client: Climate Control, one selected serum, the matching DayTime Moisturizer, labeled sun protection as directed, MakeSense Silk Primer & Pore Minimizer, then MakeSense Foundation. Begin Climate Control with its nickel-size amount or more as desired, apply every later product at its current directed amount, and assess settling before you advance. If the base rolls, compare time, motion, skin condition, and the formulas pairwise before changing the sequence or cutting a fixed dose.

the science

The first two steps are preparation: a water-rich layer, then one targeted treatment. The last three are films. DayTime Moisturizer sets a flexible base, MakeSense Silk Primer refines the interface, and MakeSense Foundation carries the pigment. The Mechanical Shield is a complexion-layering technique in which each interface prepares the surface for the next. Add a labeled sunscreen as its own directed step whenever sun protection is wanted.

Climate Control is the gel-essence step

Climate Control is the gel-essence step

Clean skin is thirsty skin, and Climate Control is the first thing that answers it.

It is a preactivated hydrating gel essence: water-light, quick to sink in, laid over freshly cleansed skin before any treatment. Its sugar complex of Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol and Xylitol binds water right where bare skin is driest. Everything that follows spreads more evenly for it.

Two steps in this order look like they do the same job and do not. Climate Control prepares. MakeSense Silk Primer, four steps later, smooths.

how to use it

Before the first use of Climate Control, prime the pump until product appears. After cleansing, dispense a nickel-size amount or more as desired into a clean palm or onto the back of the hand. Use clean fingertips as a palette, then massage it over face, neck, eye area, and décolletage in circular motions before serum so the complexion build starts on evenly hydrated skin. For amount, settling, or pilling, use the application-order guide.

the science

Climate Control's gel-essence vehicle lays a water-light preparation layer on bare skin. MakeSense Silk Primer arrives at a different interface, between moisturizer and color, with a rheology built to smooth rather than to hydrate. Same face, two positions, two jobs.

Apply the Targeted Serum After Climate Control

One serum. Not three.

Pick the thing that bothers you most in the mirror and let it choose. Dark spots and uneven-looking tone go to C-Bright Dark Spot Corrector. Fine lines and a want for firmer-looking skin go to NeoTight Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Serum.

Apply the chosen serum exactly as directed after Climate Control and before moisturizer, then let it settle. That single position is what keeps the rest of the routine from crowding it.

how to use it

Choose the serum during the consultation: C-Bright Dark Spot Corrector for a visible-brightness or uneven-tone goal, NeoTight Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Serum for firmness or fine lines. Apply that formula at its current directed amount after Climate Control and before DayTime Moisturizer. In a makeup service, do not stack treatments unless their compatibility is already established. C-Bright Clinical

the science

Selection is concern-specific; the sequence is not. For a visible-brightness or uneven-tone goal, C-Bright Dark Spot Corrector brings a 15% stabilized vitamin C derivative; its ingredient list also names 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid and Ferulic Acid, while NeoTight has a separate firmness and fine-line focus. Keeping one targeted formula between gel-essence hydration and moisturizer limits redundant film load and hands primer and foundation a more predictable surface.

Apply Moisturizer Before Primer and Foundation

DayTime Moisturizer is the layer everything above it stands on.

Choose the one that matches how your skin behaves now, because Dry, Normal to Dry and Normal to Oily are different formulas rather than three sizes of one.

- DayTime Moisturizer - Dry: use it directly after washing with 3 in 1 Cleanser. It supplies moisture and forms the base for MakeSense Foundation. - DayTime Moisturizer - Normal to Dry: after 3 in 1 Cleanser, apply one to two pumps evenly to the face and neck daily. - DayTime Moisturizer - Normal to Oily: after 3 in 1 Cleanser, apply one to two pumps to the face and neck daily, massage it into the skin, then press and roll with your fingertips.

When a selected treatment is part of the routine, keep it beneath the matching moisturizer. Let that exact moisturizer application settle before MakeSense Silk Primer and MakeSense Foundation.

how to use it

Match the current DayTime Moisturizer to the client's skin behavior; compare current skincare choices rather than treating the variants as one formula. For Dry, use it directly after 3 in 1 Cleanser as the moisturizing base for MakeSense Foundation; its current direction names no amount or motion. For Normal to Dry, apply one to two pumps evenly to face and neck daily after 3 in 1 Cleanser. For Normal to Oily, apply one to two pumps to face and neck daily after 3 in 1 Cleanser, massage, then press and roll with the fingertips. When the chosen serum is in the routine, it stays below the moisturizer; Silk Primer and Foundation follow after the moisturizer has settled.

the science

The variant and its current label decide the ingredient architecture, so DayTime Moisturizer is a branch rather than one shared formula. Its emollient film is where treatment ends and the Mechanical Shield begins: it holds surface flexibility and gives MakeSense Silk Primer a consistent substrate. Climate Control and the serum stay underneath as preparation.

Use MakeSense Silk Primer & Pore Minimizer Between Skincare and Foundation

MakeSense Silk Primer & Pore Minimizer blurs the look of pores, absorbs excess oil, and leaves a smooth, velvety surface for foundation.

After DayTime Moisturizer, apply a thin layer to the face to help skin appear smoother. Wear it alone, or use it as a primer before MakeSense Foundation for a flawless finish.

how to use it

After DayTime Moisturizer, apply a thin layer of MakeSense Silk Primer & Pore Minimizer to the face. Wear it alone to help skin appear smoother, or use it as a primer before MakeSense Foundation. If rolling or pilling appears, compare amount, settling time, pressure, skin condition, and pairwise formula compatibility one variable at a time.

the science

Silk Primer is the smoothing layer between moisturizer and complexion color. Its pore-blurring and mattifying job combines oil absorption with a soft-focus surface that helps makeup glide on evenly. Caprooyl Tetrapeptide-3 is included for smoother-looking skin, and Canarium Indicum (Nangai) Seed Oil is included for hydration and soothing.

Finish the Complexion With MakeSense Foundation

MakeSense Foundation is the last layer, and the only one anybody sees.

It goes on last. Primer settles first, foundation goes over it, and nothing gets rearranged to fix a problem that started three steps earlier.

Begin with less than you think you need, build only where the eye lands, and stop while skin still reads as skin.

how to use it

Confirm the primer has settled with a light press at the jawline. When the veil stays in place under the fingertip, open the foundation. Before MakeSense Foundation, MakeSense Silk Primer & Pore Minimizer smooths the transition inside the Mechanical Shield, creating the smoother-looking, pore-blurred surface the foundation sits on. Then continue to foundation and cream-color placement for the application itself.

the science

Foundation is the pigment-bearing outer film of the Mechanical Shield, and SenePlex+® is in MakeSense Foundation itself. What matters at this point in the build is the interface: pigment laid over a settled primer sits differently from pigment laid into one that is still wet, which is why the five steps are a sequence rather than a list.
