Decisions, routines, and safety
Does serum or moisturizer go on first?
TL;DR: Serum goes before moisturizer. In the complete SeneGence bottle order, cleanse first, then use Climate Control, GLP Complex™ with SenePlex+® and Exosomes, SeneCell™ SenePlex+® StemCell Concentrate, Nangai Oil when skin feels dry, tight, or depleted, and the moisturizer that fits the daypart and your skin. In the morning, follow with separately directed labeled sun protection before color.
After cleansing, apply Climate Control first when it is in the routine, using a nickel-size amount or more as desired. It is the preactivated hydrating gel-essence preparation step; shop Climate Control.
In the complete treatment sequence, follow with two to three pumps of GLP Complex™ with SenePlex+® and Exosomes on clean, dry skin, then two pumps of SeneCell™ SenePlex+® StemCell Concentrate over face and neck. GLP Complex brings the contour-support step; SeneCell is the hydration-rich final treatment. Shop GLP Complex or shop SeneCell. Let each directed application settle before the next layer.
Where does Nangai Oil fit—and why?
When skin feels dry, tight, or depleted, add three to five drops of Nangai Oil after treatment and before moisturizer. Nangai Oil is a biomimetic* facial oil. Its formula gives that descriptor a specific basis: Nangai Oil is a triglyceride-rich facial oil led by Canarium indicum seed oil, with Jojoba Oil/Macadamia Seed Oil Esters, Squalene, Phytosteryl Macadamiate, Phytosterols, meadowfoam seed oil, and squalane helping support the skin barrier, moisture retention, softness, and a youthful-looking glow. Shop Nangai Oil.
The lipid story is specific: Inside Nangai Oil, Jojoba Oil/Macadamia Seed Oil Esters, Squalene, Phytosteryl Macadamiate, and Phytosterols form a botanically sourced skin-lipid mimetic designed to echo the youthful balance of our natural skin oil, or sebum. Open the skin-lipid evidence. Nangai Oil adds lipid comfort and helps skin hold moisture when that is the step the day calls for.
What comes after Nangai Oil?
Choose the moisturizer by both skin fit and daypart. The Dry routine is for skin that repeatedly feels tight, under-cushioned, or short on comfort after cleansing. Its DayTime Moisturizer - Dry supplies the lighter morning finish, while Evening Moisturizer - Dry is the richer night cream. Shop the Dry set, DayTime Moisturizer - Dry, or Evening Moisturizer - Dry.
If Dry feels too rich, compare the Normal-to-Dry day and evening pair. DayTime Moisturizer - Normal to Dry gives that lane a lightweight, luminous morning finish; shop DayTime. Evening Moisturizer - Normal to Dry is the richer night cream; shop Evening, or shop the Normal-to-Dry set. After Nangai Oil, finish with the moisturizer that matches the time of day only when that formula family is your verified fit.
What follows moisturizer in the morning?
Moisturizer closes this treatment-and-lipid sequence; it is not a universal substitute for sun protection. In the morning, follow the directions for the separately labeled sun-protection product you choose, then move into complexion color. The sunscreen-order guide opens the current labeled SPF example without changing this bottle order.
What if the layers pill?
Pilling does not change the directed order. Notice where the rolling begins—during skincare or only when primer and foundation follow—then use the step-by-step pilling diagnostic to find the first layer that rolls.
